Our design-oriented Architectural group has expertise in many facets of Professional Architectural Design and Construction Contract Management. We provide master planning for public spaces, design for individuals with special needs and sustainable design. GYMO’s architects are also recognized for many attractive commercial and public facilities featuring user-friendly indoor/outdoor spaces. The architectural team provides design services for private and public housing, military facilities, marina and waterfront reconstruction, streetscape and downtown development.

GYMO’s Engineering group has a proven reputation in civil engineering, site design, and land development planning. Our work includes water, wastewater and storm drainage systems, roadway, pedestrian trail, and bridge design projects. Working directly with site data created by GYMO’s land surveyors, the engineers efficiently produce site plans, grading plans, and maps with accurate, up-to-date information. Our engineering department integrates projects with the surveyors and architects from the conceptual design and planning phase, through preparation of construction documents, specifications and construction contract administration.

GYMO’s Environmental Department offers Phase I Environmental Site Assessments under the most current ASTM method (E1527-13). Should the Phase I investigation lead to a Phase II environmental investigation, we are prepared to offer turnkey services to resolve any environmental hurdle. We also provide underground storage tank investigation and other petroleum related services. When needed, we also work closely with regulators to find the most economic and acceptable resolution. From our on-the-ground service work to budgeting and project management, our team will exceed your expectations.

GYMO’s Land Surveying group consists of field and office personnel with extensive experience in federal, state, municipal, Department of Defense, commercial, and residential property boundary surveys. They develop topographic/planimetric site surveys and construction layout with machine control. Our field crews and office personnel use state-of-the-art technical equipment, the most current methods of data collection, data reduction, AutoCAD hardware, and software, as well as GPR/LIDAR/GPS/GIS field survey Data Acquisition. Utilizing data from this equipment our engineers, planners, architects, and landscape architects integrate their projects from the conceptual design and planning phase, through preparation of construction documents and specifications.

Land Planning and Design

Our Land Planning and Design Group takes the lead with respect to municipal planning, landscape architecture, land use planning and environmental design. They work closely with all professional disciplines at GYMO. With a proven reputation in land planning and design for site, environmental and municipal projects, our work often includes waterfront design, green infrastructure, stormwater design, trail and park planning, land use planning and all aspects of landscape architecture. Landscape Architectural plans and reports are an integral part of every GYMO design and facilitate our sensitive and environmentally conscious design approach to each and every project we undertake.
